Published Pricing. No "Contact Us for a Quote" Games.
Bookkeeping is priced by your average monthly business expenses — so you pay in proportion to the size of your business. Payroll, A/R, A/P and admin support are add-ons you turn on only when you need them, and BOSS CRM platform plans are listed further down. Everything below is what you actually get.

Don’t see your situation on the list? Other packages are available. Above $275,000 in average monthly expenses we quote individually — at that volume the transaction count and reporting needs go beyond a standard plan. We also build custom packages that combine bookkeeping with admin, HR, payroll, or BOSS CRM into one monthly scope. Ask at your free assessment and we’ll price it around what you actually need.

Add-On Services
Add these only when you need them. They are separate from the core bookkeeping plans.

|---|---|---|
| New-client setup | Starting at $350 one time | Account connections, opening review, chart-of-accounts setup, workflow build and your first monthly close — for books that are already current. |
| Historical cleanup | Quoted after review | Priced per month of books cleaned, quoted after a free diagnostic review. Categorization, reconciliation, corrected opening balances and tax-ready reports for every period we touch. |
| Managed payroll | $50 minimum + $10/employee/mo | Routine payroll processing through QuickBooks Payroll on your schedule, including direct deposit and standard filings. Payroll software is billed separately by Intuit. |
| Accounts receivable | Starting at $150/mo | Priced by invoice volume. We create and send invoices, apply payments, send statements and run a consistent follow-up schedule on what’s past due. |
| Accounts payable | Starting at $150/mo | Priced by bill volume. Bills captured, entered and coded to the right job, then prepared in a payment run you approve — you authorize every payment. |
| Florida sales-tax filing | Starting at $75/return | Preparation and filing of one standard Florida sales-and-use-tax return per period from reconciled books. Back returns and notices quoted separately. |
| 1099 preparation | $150 base + $15/form | Preparation, e-filing and recipient copies — with complete vendor records and W-9s on file by January 15. |

| BOSS CRM | Platform plans from $97/mo | Lead capture, follow-up, pipeline, reviews and invoicing tools. Platform plans, setup and management are on the BOSS CRM page. |
What’s Included — and What Isn’t
Every add-on has a written scope. Here is exactly what you get, what you don’t, and the ground rules that keep the price honest.
Historical Cleanup & Catch-Up
Behind on your books? We start with the last month that was truly reconciled, then work forward: transactions categorized, bank and credit-card accounts reconciled, duplicates removed, opening balances corrected, and a tax-ready set of reports for every period we touch. Cleanup is priced per month of books cleaned and quoted after a free diagnostic review — you get a written scope and a flat price before we begin, never open-ended hourly billing.
Included
- Diagnostic review of your file, with the periods and accounts agreed in writing
- Categorization of transactions for every period in scope
- Reconciliation of connected bank, credit-card and payment accounts
- Duplicate detection and removal
- Opening-balance and balance-sheet corrections
- Open-question list and document requests so nothing is guessed
- Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet for each cleaned period
- Closing summary and handoff to your ongoing monthly plan
Not included
- Income-tax return preparation or amended returns
- Payroll corrections or amended payroll filings
- Back sales-tax returns, penalty or notice resolution
- Forensic or fraud investigation
- Software migration or rebuilding a file from scratch (quoted separately)
- Inventory reconstruction
Cleanup quotes are based on the information provided at intake and hold for 30 days. If we open the file and find materially more volume, missing records or unreconciled periods than described, we pause and re-quote before doing additional work — you will never get a surprise invoice. A deposit starts the work and the balance is due at delivery. Ongoing monthly service begins the month after cleanup is complete.
Accounts Receivable — Get Paid Faster
We create and send your invoices, apply payments as they come in, send statements, and run a consistent, polite follow-up schedule on what’s past due — so “I’ll get to it this weekend” stops costing you money. You approve the terms and the escalation steps; we do the chasing. Priced by the number of invoices you issue each month.
Included
- Invoice creation and delivery by email or text
- Recurring and progress invoicing on your schedule
- Payment application and posting to the ledger
- Monthly customer statements
- A/R aging report every month
- Follow-up sequence on your approved cadence — reminder at due date, follow-up at 15 days, formal notice at 30, escalation to you at 45
- Documented notes on every account so you can see what was said and when
Not included
- Third-party debt collection or credit reporting
- Liens, lien-law notices or legal action
- Attorney demand letters
- Customer credit checks or credit approval decisions
- Writing off bad debt without your authorization
- Contract or dispute negotiation
A/R service assumes your books are current and your customer list and payment terms are accurate. Collecting balances already over 90 days at the start of service is quoted as a one-time recovery project. We follow up on your behalf, under your name and your approved wording — HERO is not a licensed collection agency and does not take legal action. Volume beyond your plan band moves to the next band from the following month.
Accounts Payable — Nothing Slips, Nothing Ships Late
Vendor bills and receipts come to us, get entered and coded to the right job and account, and land in a payment run you approve. You keep total control of the money — we keep the paperwork, the due dates and the vendor relationships from becoming your evening job. Priced by the number of bills you receive each month.
Included
- Bill and receipt capture and entry
- Coding to the right account, class or job
- Duplicate-bill checks
- Matching bills to purchase orders or material receipts where you use them
- A scheduled payment run prepared for your one-click approval
- Vendor record and W-9 maintenance for clean 1099s
- Unpaid-bills and cash-requirements report every month
- Early-payment discounts flagged before they expire
Not included
- Releasing or authorizing payments — you approve every payment; we never move your money
- Vendor contract negotiation or purchasing decisions
- Credit applications
- Resolving disputed charges beyond a first documented inquiry
- Rush or same-day payment runs outside the agreed schedule
- 1099 filing (a separate add-on)
HERO prepares payments; the client authorizes and releases every payment. We are not granted signing authority or standalone banking access. Bills received fewer than three business days before a scheduled run move to the next run. Late fees or vendor holds caused by bills not sent to us, or by approvals not returned, are the client’s responsibility. Volume beyond your plan band moves to the next band the following month.
Administrative & Back-Office Support
The calls you didn’t return, the intake forms nobody sent, the folder of documents that’s really a shoebox. We take a defined list of recurring administrative work off your plate on an agreed schedule, working inside your tools, with a monthly summary of what got done. Priced by hours per month, in blocks — start with the tasks eating your evenings and add more as we go.
Included
- Inbox monitoring, triage and replies on an agreed schedule
- Appointment scheduling, confirmations and rescheduling
- New-client intake and paperwork
- Estimate and document formatting, filing and retrieval
- CRM / BOSS data entry and pipeline hygiene
- File and folder organization
- Vendor and customer follow-up on defined scripts
- Data entry, list building and recurring reports
Not included
- Live phone answering or dispatch coverage
- Sales calls or price negotiation
- Licensed HR advice (HR Support is its own add-on)
- Marketing strategy or ad management
- Technician or field scheduling that needs on-call judgment
- Anything requiring a license we don’t hold
- After-hours and weekend coverage unless purchased
Admin blocks are monthly and do not roll over — unused hours expire at month end. Hours beyond your block are billed in 15-minute increments at the published overage rate, or we move you up a block. Scope is the written task list agreed at the start; new task types are added by agreement. HERO does not provide live phone answering, licensed HR or legal advice, or after-hours coverage unless purchased.

The Platform Is the Subscription. The Setup and the Managing Are the Work.
Your BOSS plan is the software. Getting it configured around how you actually sell — and keeping it working as your business changes — is a service, priced separately so you can see exactly what you’re paying for.

Account build and branding, one pipeline, missed-call text-back, calendar, lead forms and one review-request automation.
BOSS Pro setup
Everything in the Starter build plus up to five follow-up workflows, web chat, a second pipeline, one landing page and your reporting dashboard.
BOSS Grow setup
Everything in the Pro build plus a reactivation campaign, multi-channel inbox configuration, advanced automations, team setup and training.
Monthly Management
Optional, and added on top of your platform plan. This is what keeps BOSS current instead of slowly going stale.

With BOSS Pro
Up to 4 hours of change work per month.
With BOSS Grow

Build Work — Quoted Separately
Websites, funnels, automations and prospecting campaigns are projects, not maintenance. They’re quoted on top of setup and management so a big build never quietly eats your monthly plan.
| Build work | Price | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Website build | From $1,750 | Five pages, built in BOSS. Additional pages $150 each. |
| Single funnel | From $750 | Landing page, thank-you page and one automation. |
| Multi-step funnel | From $1,200 | Multi-page funnel with sequenced follow-up. |
| Workflow / automation build | $250 each | Three-pack $650. |
| Prospecting campaign | $600 setup, then $350/mo | List build, outreach sequence and tracking, then run and optimized monthly. |
| Ad-hoc build work | $85/hour | Prepaid five-hour block $400. |
Important BOSS notes. Setup, management and build work are quoted and approved in writing before any work starts. Management hours are monthly and do not roll over; work beyond your included hours is quoted as build work. Text-message, email and AI usage inside BOSS is passed through at cost — each managed account includes a monthly usage credit and anything beyond it is billed at cost, with no markup. Platform plans are billed monthly and can be changed at any time.
Pricing Questions, Answered
How much does bookkeeping cost for a home service business?
Monthly bookkeeping is $175 for businesses with up to $25,000 in average monthly expenses, $350 from $25,001 to $150,000, and $550 from $150,001 to $275,000 Above $275,000 in average monthly expenses we quote custom, because the transaction volume and complexity go beyond a standard plan. Plans are billed monthly and a QuickBooks Online subscription is required and billed separately by Intuit.
What does payroll cost per employee?
Managed payroll is a $50 monthly minimum plus $10 per employee per month, processed through QuickBooks Payroll. The QuickBooks Payroll subscription is billed separately by Intuit.
Why is pricing based on expenses instead of hours?
Because average monthly expenses are the closest honest proxy for how much work your books actually take, and it keeps the price proportional to the size of your business. It also means you know your price before you talk to anyone.
What happens if my business grows into the next tier?
Average monthly expenses are reviewed periodically and you move to the appropriate tier when your three-month average crosses a threshold. No surprise mid-month changes — and growing into a higher tier is a good problem.
What kind of agreement do you use?
Bookkeeping plans are billed monthly. You can start with one service and add others as you grow, and add-ons are quoted before any work begins.
Is setup or cleanup included in the monthly price?
No — new-client setup and historical cleanup are quoted separately after we review the books, because how far behind you are varies enormously. Both are one-time costs, not part of the ongoing monthly plan.
My situation doesn't match any of the tiers. Now what?
Other packages are available. Above $275,000 in average monthly expenses we price individually, and we build custom scopes that combine bookkeeping with admin, HR, payroll or BOSS CRM into one monthly number. Ask at your free assessment.
